Global expansion
A new marketplace is a new set of rules, not a copy of the one you know. We validate local demand, setup unified accounts, localize listings with native phrasing, coordinate VAT & EPR registrations, and launch aggressive PPC. One clear roadmap, zero wasted inventory.
Why global expansion matters in 2026
Scaling outside the US is the single fastest way to double market share.
Amazon global expansion is the work of launching a brand that already sells in one marketplace into another. It covers market research, account and Brand Registry setup, translation, VAT and EPR registration, inventory planning, and launch advertising. SellMora runs the whole sequence, and checks the demand is there before you spend anything.
End-to-End Global Expansion, Built Into Every SellMora Account
Six structured steps executed in sequence so your international launch runs seamlessly.
Market research & demand validation
Evaluating search volume, price elasticity, local competition, and landed fulfillment costs for each target marketplace.
You receive a detailed viability report ranking target marketplaces by potential profitability. If a market isn't viable, we tell you up front.
Account and Brand Registry setup
Enabling regional marketplace permissions, verifying bank and tax details, and extending Brand Registry worldwide.
We configure global ASIN linkages correctly from day one so your existing reviews and ratings automatically syndicate to the new region.
Native translation & localization

Zero clumsy machine translation. Native speakers write around verified local keywords, metric units, and country-specific cultural nuances.
VAT & EPR compliance coordination
Mapping and managing mandatory tax registrations, packaging EPR, and electronics compliance across Europe and international hubs.
We prepare the filings, track authority approvals, and upload verified tax IDs into Seller Central to guarantee zero blocked inventory.
Inventory & supply chain planning
Sizing the initial shipment against empirical market velocity and comparing Pan-European vs. European Fulfillment Network economics.
We establish safe 8 to 12-week test stock levels and pre-set reorder triggers so you never run out and lose newly established organic rank.
Launch advertising & ranking PPC
Aggressive 90-day launch advertising campaigns designed to build immediate sales velocity on fresh international listings.
We deploy localized auto and discovery campaigns to harvest converting regional search terms, transitioning traffic into profitable exact match.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about expanding to international Amazon marketplaces.
Which marketplace should I expand into first?
It depends on your product, not on which marketplace is largest. The research looks at search volume on your terms in the local language, category price bands, established competitor review strength, and landed fulfillment costs. For most US brands the UK is the easiest first step because there is no language barrier.
Do I need a separate Seller Central account for Europe?
Not usually. Amazon's unified account covers European marketplaces together, and North America works the same way. Moving between regions (e.g. from North America to Europe) does require a separate account. We confirm which applies to you before starting.
Do my reviews come with me?
Within a region, yes, in most cases. Amazon syndicates reviews across marketplaces in the same region when the listing is correctly matched as the same product. We make sure the ASINs and barcode identifiers are linked correctly so syndication occurs automatically.
Do I need a VAT number, and do you handle it?
If you hold stock in a country, you will normally need to be VAT registered there. We tell you exactly which registrations the launch needs, prepare the paperwork, chase the applications, and load the numbers into Seller Central.
What is EPR, and does it apply to me?
EPR stands for Extended Producer Responsibility: the rules making sellers responsible for packaging, electricals, and batteries put into a market (strictly enforced in Germany and France). We map what is needed and manage registrations alongside VAT.
Is machine translation good enough for my listings?
No. Machine translation keeps your words, but foreign shoppers search in their own vernacular. We do keyword research in the target language first and then have a native speaker write benefit-driven copy around those terms.
